UV light does not add anything to the water .
Such as ,undesirable color ,odor , taste , or flavor ,nor does it generate harmful byproducts. It adds only energy in the UV radiation.
Also, UV disinfection requires only a fraction of the contact times required by other disinfection methods.
It is fast, efficient, effective, economical and environmentally-friendly.
Ultraviolet light is invisible, exists in the outside of ultraviolet spectrum,
so it is called ultraviolet radiaction. According to a different wavelength range,
they are cut into A, B, C three kinds of bands, including the C-band UV wavelength between 240-260nm, which is the most effective sterilizer band, band's strongest point it the wavelength of 253.7nm.

Principle of Operation
Ultraviolet disinfection systems typically utilize thin cylindrical bulbs capable of generating narrow band wavelength UV light in the 254 nm range, placed in close proximity to high-purity glass tubes through which the water flows. The unit must be sized to provide adequate dosage at the specified flowrate. The water to be treated must be sufficiently free of turbidity (sediment), iron, manganese and any colorant that could affect transmission of the 254 nm UV light. Manufacturers' specifications should be consulted.
Limitation of Use
The UV water disinfection system NOT intended for the treatment of water that has an obvious contamination or intentional source, such as raw sewage, nor is the unit intended to convert wastewater to microbiologically safe drinking water.
Water Quality (in)
Water quality plays a major role in the transmission of germicidal UV rays. It is recommended that the water does not exceed following maximum concentration levels
