Working Principle
It utilizes pressure difference as the driving force for membrane separation and filtration. Osmosis is a physical phenomenon where water with a lower salt content will seep through a semi-permeable membrane into water with a higher salt content. Reverse osmosis is the opposite of this process. By applying a pressure greater than the osmotic pressure on the salt-containing water (such as raw water), the water molecules in the raw water are forced to pass through the reverse osmosis membrane to the other side, becoming pure water, while impurities, colloids, organic matter, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses and other harmful substances in the raw water are all intercepted and discharged through the sewage outlet.
System Composition
• Pretreatment Part: Usually consists of quartz sand filtration, activated carbon filtration and precision filtration devices, which aim to remove sediment, rust, colloidal substances, suspended solids, pigments, odors, biochemical organic matter, etc.
• Main Machine: Composed of booster pumps, membrane housings, membranes, control circuits, etc. It is the core part of the entire water treatment system.
• Post-treatment Part: Further processes the pure water produced by the main machine.
• System Cleaning Part: In order to ensure the normal operation of the system and prolong the service life of the membrane elements, the system needs to be cleaned after running for a period of time.
