SS screen automatic backwashing filter
Automatic backwashing filter is applicable for all kinds of water supply systems, process water system and industrial cooling water, especially for the 24-hour-running system. It could filter the mechanical impurity in the water and make sure the safe and reliable running of the system and the equipment.
Structure and work principle Automatic backwashing filter is made up of the high quality carbon steel cartridge, stainless steel wedge strainer of special structure, electric actuating mechanism and drainage device. When the filter works, the electric actuating mechanism will lead the butterfly valve to open, the water flow gets into the filter through the entrance, after the filtering with the strainer to the exit. When the filter requires the drainage, the butterfly valve will close and the drainage valve will open. After the filtering with the first half of the strainer, part of the water flows into the system through the exit. The rest water will flow from the outer side of the second half of the strainer to the inner side. And it is discharged from the drainage exit. It is with the use of automatic backwashing of the strainer Then during the whole washing process the system could run normally without stop.

Structure and working principle
Automatic backwashing filter is made up of the high quality carbon steel or SS filter housing, special structure stainless steel wedge screen, electric actuating mechanism and drainage device. When the filter start working, the electric actuating mechanism will lead the butterfly valve to open, the flowing water gets into the filter through the entrance, it reaches the outlet after filtered by screen.When the filter needs to discharge drainage, the butterfly valve will close and the drainage valve will open. The flowing water filtered by front half part of the screen, part of the water flows into the filter through the water outlet.
The remaining water will flow into internal part of the second half screen section from the screen outside .then it is discharged out from the drain outfall. It acted as automatic backwashing on the filter screen, Therefore the filter could run normally without stop during the whole washing process.
