Introduction
Filter Bag Housings are compact, space saving and designed for optimum filtration performance. The range provides filtration solutions for a broad variety of fluid applications in the process industry using bag filter technology. Filter Bag Housings are manufactured in accordance to meet the high demands of the process industries.
Equipment Connections can be NPT, BSP and ASA screwed or flanged in the different configurations to suit the customer's requirements. All bag filters vessels are compatible with all standard snap ring filter bags as well as our other custom designed bags. These can be supplied in single or multiple bags in a vessel assembly.
SS Bag Filter Housings are sealed with top seated Silicon/Viton .O. ring by positive tangential contact that eliminates accidental misplacement.
All SS Bag Filter Housings have been tested and passed the hydrostatic leak and burst pressure to ensure consistence safe performance.
Bag filters vessels can be manufactured to accept PP / Rubber / Snap collar bags of reputed make.
All filter vessels are supplied complete with SS retainer basket and standard rubber O-ring.
The liquid is filtered more effectively when there are any of the following conditions:

Working principle
Within the bag filter, under the action of pressure, the solution flows through the filter bag, the pollutants intercepted and the filtered residue will stranded in the bag. while the filtrate outflows along the metal bearing baskets wall, achieving the purpose of filtration.
SS Bag Filter Housings effectively removes dirt, pipe scale, and other contaminants from process liquids such as water, chemical and petroleum products. May be used as a strainer before a pump or as a filter after the pump.<o:p>
SS Filter housings come with SS retainer cage for bag supporting purpose. SS Bag Filter Housings also carry SS sealing disc for better sealing arrangement. SS Bag Filter Housings have inline configuration to minimize pressure drop. Flow direction is from inside to outside. They are rugged enough to withstand operating pressure up to 7 bar and temperature up to 70°C<o:p>

Scope of application
