Introduction

JGL mechanical filter is also called a pressure filter. It is mainly used to reduce the turbidity of water and to remove suspended solids and impurities in water. 
This equipment is an oval reservoir with oval punched cover at both ends and three legs at the bottom. The inner surfaces of the body and pipeline are coated with the high-strength anti-corrosion protection layer. Inside the equipment are filled with different sizes of filter materials such as quartz sand, activated carbon or anthracite. The water inlet distribution device is installed on the top; the arch hole plate is installed at the bottom with compressed air pipeline for loosening the filter layer during the backwash. The front side is equipped with the water inlet, water outlet, backwash water inlet and drainage devices including accessories such as pipes, valves and manometers.




The characteristics of the filtration system

Working Principle

 The most practical, cheapest and basic type of water filtration is a carbon filter to clean water. Carbon filters have a multitude of applications including filtering drinking water and keeping a fish aquarium's water from getting murky. While it can remove some particles that cloud the water, reduce nasty chlorine residue and can even help to reduce odors, thus improving the general taste and clarity of water, it does have its limitations when it comes to microbe and bacterial .
